Krysan Wins 2012 Oliver Cromwell Cox Award
Maria Krysan, interim head and professor of sociology, and several co-authors of the American Journal of Sociology article, "Does Race Matter in Neighborhood Preferences? Results from a Video Experiment" – won the 2012 Oliver Cromwell Cox Award from the Racial and Ethnic Minorities Section for the the best research article in the sociological study of race and ethnicity published in the past three years. They will receive the award at the Section Reception (Sunday, August 19th, 2012) in Denver.
