Karen Su selected to participate in the We Need Diverse Books 2018 Mentorship Program!
Karen Su has been selected as one of ten authors to participate in the We Need Diverse Books’ 2018 Mentorship Program. This program will support her ongoing projects of producing a series of picture books based on oral history interviews of Asian American women and women of color artists who have a gift of creative determination and a passion for making positive change in the world.
We Need Diverse Books is an organization is a 501c3 non-profit organization advocating for essential changes in the publishing industry to produce and promote literature that reflects and honors the lives of all young people. This particular mentorship program supports writers early in their career by pairing them with an experienced children’s author or illustrator. Read more here!
