History Professor Todd-Breland Talks New Illinois State Law on the Chicago Sun-Times

The Chicago Sun-Times quotes Elizabeth Todd-Breland, UIC assistant professor of history, in a story about a new Illinois state law that requires all public colleges and universities to offer a black history course. Todd-Breland says that it's not only important to offer this course, but also "to monitor the implementation of this to make sure these courses are not marginalized among other requirements."
