Graduate Student Leads Local Government Research

The Chicago Tribune reported Douglas Cantor, graduate student of political science,  pushed for term limits on elected officials in the south suburb of Tinley Park as the director of research for the Tinley Park Term Limits Commission. Cantor conducted interviews with 34 officials from 16 different government agencies and concluded that the benefits of term limits outweigh the negatives. The Commission did not reach a decision.
