Former Professor of Sociology Bill Erbe Passed Away
Bill Erbe, former professor in the Department of Sociology, passed away on June 11, 2013. Erbe retired in 1995 after 26 years of teaching. His last achievement was the publication of the Chicago Area Fact Book. He was the main coordinator of the book designing the tables from two consecutive Censuses, and writing and editing the community narratives. It was the last fact book in a long and illustrious series.
