Distinguished Professor Frank Chaloupka Receives 2014 World No Tobacco Day Award
Frank Chaloupka, UIC Distinguished Professor of Economics and director of the Institute for Health Research and Policy’s Health Policy Center, has been named among the World Health Organization’s World No Tobacco Day 2014 award winners. Professor Chaloupka was awarded among five Region of the Americas awardees.
The World No Tobacco Day awards are presented by the WHO in recognition for the work of individuals or organizations in each of the six WHO Regions for their accomplishments in the area of tobacco control.
