Chemistry Professor Petr Krals Research Featured in Health Medicine Network Article
Research done in collaboration with Dr. Petr Kral, LAS professor in the Department of Chemistry, and his group at UIC was featured in a recent Health Medicine Network article entitled “Tiny ‘Flasks’ Speed Up Chemical Reactions.” The research, led by Dr. Rafal Klajn of the Weizmann Institute’s Organic Chemistry Department, discovered that nanoflasks (which are millionths of a millimeter in size) “might facilitate the manufacture of various industrial materials and perhaps even serve as vehicles for drug delivery.”
