Bliss Receives Urban Politics Dissertations Award
Daniel Bliss, a recent graduate from UIC's Department of Political Science, was recently honored by the Urban Politicis Dissertation Award Committee for his dissertation, "Defining the Path to Growth: Small Town Governance and Economic Decelopment in an Age of Globalization."
Bliss' dissertation was recognized by the committee to have covered an important and relevant topic in a little-studied context. His serious and extensive coverage and analysis of the issue has earned him this outstanding award.
