Associate Professor of Sociology Awarded IES Grant

Rachel Gordon, associate professor of sociology, was awarded an Institute for Education Sciences (IES) grant to fund her research project entitled “Measuring Preschool Program Quality: Multiple Aspects of the Validity of Two Widely-Used Measures.” The project will look at the validity of two widely used measures of preschool classroom quality. Gordon is the principle investigator of the study and will work with co-investigators including Everett Smith, UIC professor of educational psychology. Learn more about Gordon's IES funded project.
