UIC is included in the top 10 on the Best Values list of the nation’s universities for the second year in a row. For 2020, UIC ranks 8th nationally, ahead of UCLA and Princeton!  In 2019, we were ranked 7th – placing us just after Harvard and a few spots ahead of Stanford.

• UIC also ranked 21st (tied with Michigan State and ahead of Ohio State and University of Minnesota-Twin Cities) among 340+ U.S. public universities.

• UIC climbed to 81st out of all institutions nationally.

• UIC is in the top 10% overall in the environment category, which assesses student and staff diversity, student inclusion and the proportion of international students.
