Satire on College Admissions Process

UIC News featured a satire written by former UIC Finance Professor John Binder entitled,The Girl Who Applied Everywhere. The novel takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to the whirlwind process of college application and acceptance through the eyes of three high school seniors. 

The novel has received excellent reviews thus far and appeals to a wide range of audiences; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Senior Associate Dean Emanuel Pollack rated it highly, noting that the it is imaginative and humorous, with characters and situations that many readers can easily sympathize and identify with.
