Race Premium on Chicago Housing

Marcus Casey, an assistant professor in the Department of Economics, co-authored a paper with the National Bureau of Economic Research regarding the continued existence of a race premium on housing in Chicago. Casey at his co-researchers examined four U.S. cities - Chicago, Baltimore, Los Angeles and San Francisco - and assessed the relative segregation of the cities.
