Prof. Guevarra selected for Thinking Transnational Feminism Summer Institute
Professor Anna Guevarra was selected as a participant at the Thinking Transnational Feminism Summer Institute for her project, "Racial Branding, Disembodied Labor and the Philippines' 'Cybraceros'."
The project explores the radicalized and gendered dynamics of robotic technology and the techno-presence of disembodied migrant labor. This gathering is convened by Frontiers: A Journal of Women's Studies, which is one of the leading publications in the field of feminist studies/gender studies. This collaborative, week-long institute will take place at Ohio State University in July 2014.
