Political Science Major Featured in ABC Local News
Gerardo Salinas, an undergraduate majoring in political science, was featured in an ABC Local News story. Gerardo graduated from Daley Community College before attending UIC. Salinas' success story highlights the support he received from the Disability Access Center at Daley College to help him with his visual impairment. Salinas lost his vision at the age of 12 after experiencing retina detachment in both of his eyes.
