Kosa Gets Real-Life Education
UIC News reported this week on Emily Kosa, a political science student, has been spending the last few months balancing her academic and personal life with her duties on the Obama Campaign as a staging location director. In this role, she has created and organized a UIC student volunteer base, and weekly scheduled phone banking sessions, in the effort to help re-elect President Obama. As a cap to the entire experience, Kosa had the opportunity to meet with the President when he stopped in Chicago to cast his early ballot.
