Finding Clues in Bones

Cabel Kestle, a Ph.D. candidate in anthropology, was profiled by UIC News for his research on ancient animal bones in southern Mexico near Lake Mensabak in Selva Lacandona National Park. Through his research, Kestle seeks to determine how the socioeconomic conditions of the  Colonial period (1400-1600 A.D.) altered or modified today's environment.
