Distinguished Professor Deirdre McCloskey Interviewed for BBC News Article on Inequality

Quotes from Deirdre McCloskey, UIC Distinguished Professor of Economics, History, and English, were recently featured in a section of a January 8, 2016 BBC News Business article entitled “How Much Inequality is Too Much?” which examines the worldwide phenomenon of overall poverty decreasing even while inequality rises.

Professor McCloskey’s section, entitled “Capitalism Is Not The Enemy,” offers a potential solution of “uplifting the poor” by a means that does not necessarily “attack” the top earners, or as she phrases it, “kill the goose that laid the golden eggs.”
