Deirdre McCloskey Receives Julian L. Simon Memorial Award
Deirdre McCloskey, distinguished professor of economics, English, history and communications, was selected as the recipient of Competitive Enterprise Institute's (CEI) prestigious Julian L. Simon Memorial Award. The Award was established in 2001 for the late free market economist of whom the award takes its name.
