Communication Head Zizi Papacharissi Named High Impact Scholar
LAS Communication Professor and Department Head Zizi Papacharissi has been honored with the High Impact Scholar award from the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Journalism. Papacharissi is among five University of Texas-Austin alumni to be honored with the High Impact Scholar award, which recognizes achievements in publications, productivity, and citation numbers among their alumni. Recipients were honored at an event at the university on October 20.
