Alumnus Coordinates ‘The Big Read’
The Courier-News announced that Hector Ocampo, LAS alumnus ('11, BA, criminology, law and justice) and U.S. Army Staff Specialist in Iraq, is coordinating The Big Read at the Gail Borden Public Library. Partially funded by the National Endowments for the Arts, The Big Read will start on September 8 and run until November 11. Tim O'Brian's The Things They Carried will be the main focus of this program. Read The Courier-News report.
